The\ncanvas is filled with dots and circles that float harmoniously, signifying a life\nforce at work behind everything in a micro or macro universal context. The\nspheres and swirls are a signature of Saguil that symbolize her interpretation\nof the cosmos. Aside from the shapes and forms present in the artwork, the\ncolor blue also dominates the painting. For the artist, the color blue represents\nhealing and solace. Saguil seems to convey that although the universal\nscheme of things may be beyond our comprehension, our moment of it can\nbe understood in terms of feeling and sentiment. In the year this painting\nwas made, Nena Saguil was named as one of the 12 Outstanding Overseas\nFilipinos.
