Holding a sizable claim to be “the world’s longest continuing art tradition,” the Aboriginals create art as a form of storytelling (among other uses) and its textile production is no different. This particular textile design shows their prodigious original talent as it depicts usual native elements — the birds, the leaves, and the sun. Though one can never truly distill the entirety of the diverse Aboriginal art in one form, this textile design is an exemplary illustration of their refreshing art — it is unique, invigorating, and vital in the widening of one’s horizon in art.
