Like Singkong Suka, this work characterized Onib’s art style—it was full of distorted characters, their desolate lives made evident by the stretch of their heads or the almost impossible slump of their shoulders.
\n

This work focused on a man, his face indecipherable as he looks forward. Behind him, and nearly leaning against his back, is another man, who is looking directly at a duo slumped against the wall opposite him as they talk. There is a sense of bleakness in this piece, as though everyone is holding their breath as they wait for the other shoe to drop. Here, Onib cements his sorrowful figures, imbuing them with a sense of dread not for what is happening, but for what is to come.
