Nude showcases a rough sketch of a female’s body by the renowned Al Perez, a Filipino Modern and Contemporary artist. Lying on her side with eyes tightly shut and furrowed brows, it seems like she is shying away from the viewers or is simply caught in a serious dream while in deep slumber. Perez is highly celebrated for his realistic Church paintings, earning him the nickname “Master Painter of Heritage Churches” by multiple publications. His other works include houses, still life, flowers, and landscapes. (Jessica Magno)
