Taking great inspiration from\neverything Filipino, it makes sense that he depicts one of the most important moments in contemporary\nhistory. People Power depicts the overflowing joy the people must’ve felt as they succeeded in their\nrevolution. A group of people sits huddled on the ground, arms around each other as they celebrate. Vibrant\nyellow is evident through their clothing and the bandanas wrapped around their heads, but it is important to\nnote the rose on the woman’s hand and the Philippine flag stitched onto one’s jacket – both important symbols of\nthe movement. Though deceptively simplistic, People Power packs a punch as it immortalizes one of the country’s\nmost historical moments.
