He fell in love with symbolism and how illogical or nonsensical it could be at first glance. His workpieces could be described as a storybook, as Jaylo infuses real stories from his own experiences with a coat of whimsical symbolism, portraying his experiences through his artworks in a playful manner. This piece showcases Jaylo’s ingenuity in using symbolism through the canvas—a piece that tells a story regarding setting very high expectations and numbing pressure on an individual.
