A Delightful Occurrence is an ode to one's effervescent youth, when our free-spiritedness gets the best of our lives. Here, Cacnio's skilled hands and meticulous precision portray a kid carefully balancing himself atop a boulder while flying a kite that soars high up in the sky. In an interview in 2011, he noted that people could relate to his portrayals and \"remind them of a similar character or happening in their lives.\" This statement is especially true in this 2018 piece, showcasing one of the most common leisurely activities amongst kids in the provinces, where they can fly kites and play all day and night in the rolling plains, basking under the heat of the sun while the strong winds kiss their faces. Despite his figure's face being intentionally left blank, his excellent handiwork has the profound ability to stir his viewers' emotions, fostering a deep connection within them.
