The ceramic piece, created in 1982, features an abstract fish figure painted on a black, round ceramic plate. What is eye-catching about this piece is the fact that the figure is very detailed in terms of texture, making it look like a life-sized fish served from a black ceramic plate. The work showcases Joya's impressive and wide range of art techniques, which made him recognized as one of the most prominent figures in the Filipino art scene.
