The piece features an illustration of a lavish holy altar with a starving man inside, begging for help or food as he gazes at either the light or the cross on the wall. At the left, a shining figure observes a starving man intently, while on the right, a desolate view of violence born from war reveals a hand (holding a minimal amount of food from a plate) reaching out from the plane to the starving man.

The irony of a man starving in such a lavish place can be read as a challenge for self-reflection, prompting its observers to examine the starving man getting \"fed\" by violence instead of receiving help from a holy man and ask the question to themselves: \"Are they also complicit in his suffering by just observing the figure inside?\" Charlie Co's piece engages its observers, asking them if they are also observers just like the figure on the left panel: an individual who seems to care about justice and compassion but never had the guts to act and help.
