Ocampo's piece showcases a glimpse of his experimentation. It illustrates an abstract view of interlocking rectangular and organic shapes in different sizes, laid and tessellated to create a dynamic grid-like structure. When looking at the color scheme, the earthy muted tones are dominant throughout the canvas, creating a sober and introspective mood. Although the piece is far from his signature biomorphic style that mimics forms found in any organic matter or nature, it is clear that there is still organic interplay between the shapes and edges.
