Each painting being beautiful in its own merit, the artist had managed to illustrate the figures as mythical as they were portrayed in old Filipino stories. With Diwatas being portrayed as beautiful female entities that live in the forest or deep mountains, and the first man and woman being born from a bamboo that the god had created, the pieces represent an illustration and appreciation for the beauty and richness of Filipino folklore.
