His colors are drawn from the intricate patterns of butterfly wings and the vibrant hues of nature. Additionally, his masterful brushstrokes create hazy, dreamlike landscapes that teeter on the edge of reality. Hence, Nuyda’s paintings not only please the observer’s eyes but also play with one’s mind, engaging in a philosophical inquiry into perception and cognition. His abstractions implicitly entail a dynamic process of seeking and perceiving, a visual metaphor for the cognitive act of exploration. This process is evident in his use of color and form to create landscapes that are both familiar and otherworldly, inviting the viewer to question their own understanding of the natural world.
