His diverse portfolio, which includes religious-themed works and items commissioned for several churches nationwide, as well as furniture, frames, busts, and sculptures made with wood and marble, showcases his versatility and intricate masterwork.<br> While he may not have been declared a national artist, Isabelo Tampinco’s skills and contributions to the art scene have not gone unnoticed. His numerous awards and recognitions, including acknowledgments from the Exposición Universal de Barcelona (1888), Exposición Regional de Filipinas (1895), St. Louis Exposition (1904), and the mérito civil from Governor-General Domingo Moriones for loyal services to the king of Spain, stand as testament to Tampinco’s exceptional talent. Today, we can still see traces of Tampinco’s phenomenal craftsmanship in numerous churches, government, and private institutions in the Philippines.
