With her works often exploring Filipino people and their identity, this piece highlights the mood of the scene by using vibrant colors, full of densely compacted items and figures within the canvas, to create a crowded yet harmonious environment that mirrors the theme of the composition.

Made in 1983, it respects the echoing and bustling rhythm of local life by depicting figures sitting as some buy or sell their goods. Fruits, foods, toys, and even handmade crafts are present, with colorful bandanas decorating the roofs of the establishments. The color palette, the figures (such as the religious figure of the Virgin Mary), completely capture details that blend faith and daily life as a reflection of Filipino culture.

Reflecting Belleza's celebration of Filipino folk life and maternal energy, her piece serves as a diorama of Filipino society. A place where labor, trade, culture, and religion culminate to create something familiar and nostalgic—an identity that was built through shared work and tradition. Something truly Filipino.
