Interpreted through fractured planes and sharp lines, the piece can be read as an embodiment of faith amid struggle.

Painted around 1975, the piece depicts a stylized cubist composition of the Virgin Mary decorated in a bright color palette, giving the work an intense emotional energy that gives the piece life and reverence, while the angular and sharp geometric figures provide the tension and strength of the figure portrayed inside the canvas.

The halo and the flower provide the spiritual motif of divine light and purity that is well-suited to the religious subject figure. Through and through, this Rosary Queen piece serves as a dynamic and powerful presence—radiant, protective, and resilient.
