On top of the rectangular figure is a massive celestial body (possibly the moon) floating above the form beneath that possibly guides the vessel. Within the main shape is a smaller square with a red dot that stands out and insistently captures the eyes of the observers.

If the biblical story of Noah is applied, it can be concluded that the large rectangular form is the Ark itself, with the celestial body (possibly representing a divine presence or guardian) guiding the vessel as it gives light, while the red dot are the precious life and souls that were securely preserved inside the Ark. With that in mind, Chabet has managed to completely strip the representational forms and instead focus only on the symbol, structure, and idea and use them as a form of visual storytelling—a unique approach that will become the primary hallmark for his later masterpieces.
