The scene of a woman seemingly longing for a man riding in a moving carriage pulled by a carabao conveys a heightened sense of instability and loss of control—depicting realistic human vulnerability and reflecting endurance in what is meant to be a traditional and idealistic portrayal of everyday Filipino life.
