A painter, sculptor, and printmaker, he fearlessly experimented with different styles, media, and themes, producing exciting and varied art pieces. Still, he is best known for his minimalist, geometric abstractions with a restrained palette. Behind these works are even simpler, yet complex, compositions: his sketches. These drawings could be preliminary sketches for his subsequent paintings, or just plain, random sketches. Nonetheless, it shows the artist’s ingenuity, integrity, and commitment to his craft.
