Featuring two vertical organic forms that resemble tree trunks, coral, or even hanging limbs, Sanso used the visual image as a reflection on fleeting time. The feeling of incompleteness pointed to the idea that memories are partial, distorted, and eventually eroding, concluding that the image in his painting simulates the feeling of remembered memories rather than literal objects. Fragile and fading, Sanso presents memories not as clear images but as a fragmented impression shaped by personal history, emotion, and experience.
