Rendered in aggressive, almost violent brushwork to create a sense of fragmentation, Olmedo presents a fragmented anatomy of the human body. Each distortion embodies inner turmoil and vulnerability, evoking a strong sense of anxiety or unease as the figure struggles to hold itself together. Olmedo perfectly transforms a nude body not as a symbol of purity and beauty but as a symbol of exposure—reflecting the human condition itself as fractured and uncertain.
