Featuring layered constructions of concrete slabs, wood panels, and other found materials, Amir establishes the “ground” people lived on as built up, scarred, and physically unstable. Mirroring the idea that the very foundation of what the people currently stand on—politically and socially—is already shaped and contested by unseen forces. Tempered and defined by context, power, and history.
