Featuring a negative, inverted image of an old man clutching his head as if under stress, Ventura’s piece perfectly mimics the moment when emotional states flip or blur due to a memory distorted by trauma or time, a perception stabilized under stress or extreme emotions that override rational clarity. Treating the piece as an exploration on how emotion alters perception of how people see and feel the world.
