We have known each other since grade school, through college.\"

The two boys had much in common. “We were both born in 1942. We both graduated from the University of Santo Thomas, College of Architecture and Fine Arts. He took up Fine Arts, and I took up Architecture,” he explains. Another childhood friend is Ted Javier, whose family originally owned the iconic Kamuning Bakery.” Reyes confides, “Around 1970, I immigrated to the US but traveled to Manila almost every year because of business and to visit friends and relatives. During all those years, Dalena would give me various paintings and sketches,” he says, and this is how this personal collection began.

It is with Dalena’s kind permission that the memorabilia of their friendship has been brought to market for the benefit of collectors and art historians.","lot_group":"PAINTING","lot_details_html":null,"alias":null,"hp":600000,"bp":0.2016,"isWithdrawn":0,"accounting_hp":600000,"userBid":34,"isPaid":0,"userId":34,"lot_status":"SOLD","isDone":1,"bid_history_id":19092,"reserve_price":0,"hammer_price":720960,"fav":0},"image":[{"id":66736,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10.jpg","isFeatured":1},{"id":66917,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10s.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66916,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10r.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66915,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10q.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66914,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10p.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66913,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10o.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66912,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10n.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66911,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10m.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66910,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10l.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66909,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10k.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66908,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10j.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66907,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10i.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66906,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10h.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66905,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10g.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66904,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10f.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66903,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10e.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66902,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10d.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66901,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10c.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66900,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10b.jpg","isFeatured":0},{"id":66899,"img_url":"https://leongallery.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com/v2/auction/203/236/lot/10a.jpg","isFeatured":0}]},"increment":[450000,500000,550000,600000,650000,700000,750000,800000,900000,1000000,1100000,1200000,1300000,1400000,1500000,1600000,1700000,1800000,1900000,2000000,2200000,2400000,2600000,2800000,3000000,3200000,3400000,3600000,3800000,4000000,4200000,4400000,4600000,4800000,5000000,5500000,6000000,6500000,7000000,7500000,8000000,8500000,9000000,9500000,10000000,11000000,12000000,13000000,14000000,15000000,16000000,17000000,18000000,19000000,20000000],"prev":9,"next":11,"count_bid":0,"bid_history":[],"tokenExpired":1}
