With interlocking curves that feel alive—akin to living tissues, leaves, or microscopic organisms in sync with each other.

By using textured greens, earthy tones, and muted yellows to mimic the lush colors of tropical landscapes, as well as the striking shades of oranges red and blacks on the other that gives a heavier and tense mood—almost volcanic and subterranean, it can be inferred that both artworks—which exhibits irregular shapes that seem to mold together like puzzles—successfuly depict two drastic representation of nature: one suggests growth, harmony and organic rhythm while the other focus on the rigid heat, intensity and tension that allows change and transformation. Each piece is different in representation, yet equally necessary to describe nature in its entirety.

Through these masterpieces, Ocampo perfectly highlights nature’s growth and vitality, interconnectedness, and its complex harmony—presenting nature itself as a visually structured abstraction and exploring how colors and form alone can evoke different emotional and sensory experiences.
