Albor’s abstraction feels grounded in experience, in looking and remembering, rather than in pure formal exercise. <br><br> In this work, a muted field of greys and earth tones spreads across the canvas, creating an atmosphere that feels both still and alive. Faint lines—horizontal and vertical—suggest a kind of structure beneath the surface, though nothing is fully fixed. On one side, a cluster of small, repeated marks gathers like a trace or imprint, then slowly dissolves into the surrounding space. Elsewhere, the paint thins, opening into lighter passages that give the composition room to breathe. The surface carries subtle drips and variations, as if the painting has settled into itself over time. There is no single point to focus on; instead, the eye moves gently across it, taking in shifts in texture and tone. It’s a work that rewards patience—quiet, steady, and deeply felt.
