A true gem in Philippine art, he never fails to share the bright colors and facets of the world with the local and international art scene.

The lot at hand demonstrates Zalameda’s mastery and profound understanding of color, line, and space, highlighting his ability to create dynamic compositions. With his overlapping strokes and smudges of paint, haphazardly yet carefully thrown into the canvas, the artist once again presented his abstract, hazy line of sailboats. Every sweep of his brush and the wispy, coarse black outlines give his image a sense of movement.
