The light also cuts through the image, with the side of the light showing the ordered elements, while the shaded ones contain the chaotic rest. Using blank books and loose pages as metaphors for stories that were never recorded or remembered, Theodossis created an exploration around humans’ selective memories. Highlighting the dichotomy between preserved and forgotten memories.

Artistically visualizing how structured knowledge often arises from chaotic, imaginative ideas, and suggesting that many stories and memories are untold and left to disappear into the void, while others are illuminated, Theodossis successfully constructs a magnificent masterpiece about memory and oblivion and the fragile trace of human existence. Reflecting a poetic meditation on learning, memory, and the passage of ideas. Asking the question to all observers: What happens to lives and memories that are never written down?
