Her pastel, doll-like aesthetic covers the scene in a cartoon-like packaging.

Dated around the time when many people were restricted to stay in their homes as the global pandemic spread, Yeo Kaa presents her composition as a dense mass of green rounded figures packed across one side of the canvas like canned sardines, looking intensely toward a small, alone figure curled up on her own legs while sitting on a field of red.

Yeo Kaa—through her cartoon-like aesthetic—immediately hints to viewers a feeling of isolation toward the lone figure as the green figure stares intensely. This emphasizes the feeling of emptiness and isolation during a time when many people were left isolated and helpless as the storm began to bring its wrath to the world.
