And environmental changes affecting the landscapes of northern Luzon while highlighting his fantastic artistic language.

Taking the natural landscape from his childhood and turning it into a surreal, intensely colored world, Lamarroza’s Purple Fancy presents the beauty of his childhood home in Ilocos Sur through strange colors and exaggerated forms akin to a familiar place in a dream. Essentially transforming an ordinary landscape of his childhood memories into something magical, nostalgic, and emotionally expressive.
