It features a tranquil image of a harbor filled with wooden rowboats and sailboats scattered throughout the canvas as it floats through the sea. The way Vitalis scatters the boats in different scales creates a natural rhythm that gives an illusion of distance as each eye travels from one boat to another, making the painting feel alive.

Despite simplifying the forms and relying on fragmented colors and expressive brushwork, Vitalis successfully managed to communicate the calm mood through this piece. His craft blurs the lines between impressionism, pointillism, and cubism. Transforming an ordinary coastal view into an emotional impression of light, water, and atmosphere.
