Reducing their identities into bendy language. Featuring two human figures completely shrouded and covered by white cloth, Gabito uses the fabric to give attention to their bodies and their posture. Creating a contradiction between visibility and concealment: as both figures are physically visible and yet their identities are completely covered up by the fabric that gives them physical shape.

Every crease, pull, and depression provides precise anatomy to the people behind it without exposing their faces. The cloth hides the people, but it also paradoxically reveals them through their posture and movement. Such detail thus reveals Gabito’s strengths; he treats drapery akin to an abstract form, where every fold is allowed to construct a composition, creating a work of art that becomes a meditation on identity, anonymity, vulnerability, and the parts of ourselves that remain hidden from others.
