Scratches and translucent layers. The human figure becomes part of an atmospheric, almost surreal environment through pastels, color, and softened contours. Bautista presents something that evokes introspection. One where boundaries between figures, memory, emotion, and surrounding space seem to blend and disappear at the same time.
