Featuring images of three women at the center point of the canvas, divided by three vertical divisions, while their bodies and clothing are decorated by an abundance of flowers, fruits, foliage, birds, and butterflies, Austria interpreted the beauty of Filipino women—highlighting a sense of community and sisterhood as the figures blend into the lush environment that surrounds them. This results in a folk-inspired masterpiece that essentially celebrates Filipino womanhood while highlighting the intimate relationship between man and nature.
