Spending the majority of it in France, it is no surprise that he carried the French zeitgeist in his works. Landscape shows Vitalis’ pointillistic art style, with the horizon characterized by small dots of vivid colors in his distinct postimpressionistic style. As such, he showcases his excellent brushwork, creating an image with daubs of paint and displaying his expert understanding of color, depth, and space.
