Ethereal hues permeate his canvases, almost otherworldly in their compositions. But these color schemes are precisely from nature — a passionate lepidopterist, Nuyda takes copious inspiration from the natural world. The colors adorning a butterfly’s wings appear in his next painting, while the hues of the sun rising as viewed from the mountaintops pop up in another.

\nThis particular piece shines in vivid shades of orange and blue, two complementary colors. His mastery of light and shadow takes center stage, blending sensuality and visual boldness with mystical colors.
