His vividly colored and textured works exude a\nsolitary atmosphere inspired by his nostalgic childhood in the\nPhilippines. Art has become a form of escape for Sansó – an\navenue for personal healing. It is not the desire to express a\nmessage that motivates Sansó to paint but a psychological\nnecessity.
