As Art critic and historian Raymundo Albano \nwrites, it was from this transitional stage that Luz \nrealized the sculptural potential of his abstract forms. <br /><br />\nThrough a three-dimensional translation of lines in \nspace, Luz introduced a physicality that brought new \npossibilities of experiencing his abstract forms. The \nadded variety of angles from which one is able to view \nthe sculptures allowed for what Albano calls “poetic \nluminescences” that brought a new life and luster to \nhis lines. Situated in a three-dimensional space, the \nsculptural abstractions of Luz lead the viewer to ponder \nupon the interaction of space and form in their sheer \ngeometric poetry.
