Instead, they seem suspended, like edgy clouds.  \nIt is difficult to perceive the layers of light either as an object or illusionistic space.\nFor decades, Romulo Olazo pursued abstraction concurrent with experimentations in different graphic techniques, thus giving him various bold directions of abstraction to pursue.   \nOlazo eventually adopted silkscreen techniques in painting that evolved into his Diaphanous series.\nRomulo Olazo began his Diaphanous series in the 1970s.
