This greatly acclaimed style of his, however, was preceded by one more serene in nature. In these early works, we see Kiukok’s rendition of Barong-Barong scenes. He displays his skillfulness in composition as he so ruggedly, yet intricately, spawns these disheveled abodes. The quiet, uneventful scenes are very tranquil — nothing at all like his later works.","lot_group":"Painting","lot_details_html":"
Ang Kiukok (1931 - 2005)
a.)
