He studied under the tutelage of renowned Filipino professors from UP and UST before venturing to Rome and France to further his art studies. In his later years, Sansó retired to France after falling into the beauty of the Brittany coast and devoted his life to painting astounding and haunting landscapes that captivate the viewer with their eerie beauty.<br /><br /> With just two colors—orange and green— Sansó depicted an image of a plant against an orange background. He also used black paint to outline and create shadows on his subject, adding depth. Much like its title, With Surging Fervor, this piece effectively conveyed an extreme burst of emotion that only intensifies the more you look at it, with the artist’s use of bold and vibrant hues. Created in the 2000s, this was painted using acrylic on paper, giving it a slightly rough texture and matte finish.<br /><br /> Sansó’s unique artistry and gradual rise to the art scene are products of his own talent and determination. His experiences and many sojourns abroad profoundly influenced his oeuvre, working toward his personalized figurative approach, resulting in countless mysterious, surrealistic portrayals of the physical world.
