This piece from 2010 showcases a tree house devoid of any human figures. Nonetheless, it captures the allure of Filipino childhood, especially that of provincial life, as the piece evokes the simplicity and joy of rural childhood. More than its aesthetic appeal, Cacnio’s sculptures are a testament to his unparalleled talent and deep understanding of humanity and Filipino heritage, cementing his name as a world-class sculptor.
