His visual language\nprogressed to create works in different shades but of the\nsame neutral color. He is best known for his dominantly\ntextured paintings which in this instance have been\nwashed out to a near off white chalkiness. The effect of\ndiffusion of neutral colors is Albor’s manner of working\nwith minimalism as the end goal. While gestural strokes\nadd to the complexity of the surface meanings of his\ncanvases, the twin ideas of disintegration and renewal\nare vital to the understanding of his philosophy. Because\nAlbor’s minimalist abstract expressionism does not\noverwhelm his viewers with strong, brash color and\nabrupt, confusing lines, his aesthetic speaks volumes to\nviewers that seek a calm, serene rendering of raw visual\nelements.
