Wearing a diaphanous white dress that\nexposes her arms and décolletage, the woman reveals a\nstartling confidence in her body as she is bathed with\na pale light. While her face is abstracted with lineation\nof flowers, her bodily expression is at once a study of\nopenness and vulnerability, as though, just like the flora\naround her, she is simply waiting for her moment to\nbloom. This is a captivating painting, one that reveals\ndeftness of hand and subtlety of feeling.
