I\nwas always out on the streets of Malabon\nplaying the latest popular games.” <br /><br />Furthermore, Cacnio says in an October\n14, 2014, Philippine Star article titled\n‘Michael Cacnio’s life in brass’: “My\nwork is all about the daily lives of the\nFilipinos,” he remarks. “Once people\nsee my work, they are reminded of\nthe past. By preserving it, I make\npeople think back and recall past joy\nand happiness.” Such aim is clearly\ndiscerned in this particular piece, titled\nThe Golfer.<br /><br />Through Cacnio’s works, feelings of\noptimism and hope and the rekindling\nof the joys of childhood\ninnocence are reaped and\nfostered.
