That being said, it is\nbest to view a Pacquing artwork with consideration to his\nraw and gritty creativity, free from filters. His commitment\nto approach the possibilities of abstract art in his oeuvres\nis evident through his focus on the organic shapes of\nvisual reality — such that it confronts and disrupts the\nperceptions of aesthetic representation, form, and value.\nAs a result, his compositions are filled with subjectivity\nthat its audience can relate with their own experience\nand come up with their own meaning.<br /><br />\nThe contemporary artist draws inspiration from the\nforms and figures that are familiar in everyday life. He\nis unlike most abstract artists that give importance to\nthe collective unconscious. Rather than unearthing the\nuniversal, Pacquing’s paintings reveal how it is only\nthrough subjectivity that one can be truly free. His works,\nthus, offer a plethora of contemporary elements found\nwithin a predominantly urban space, narrating the history\nand experiences of both the artist and the viewer.
